Honouring Your Sacrifice

At Humphrey-Miles, we respect and honour the sacrifices made by those who have served in our armed forces and as peacekeepers around the world.  Our debt to you is deep and abiding.

As your friends and family honour your life, the Canadian flag will fly at half-staff on the flagpole in front of our funeral home.  The military flags of the armed forces will be displayed on the standards.  Also, a blue velvet pillow on a brass easel will display your medals.

Acknowledging your valour

Too often, after the death of a veteran, family members are left with a collection of medals but have little idea of their meaning.  At Humphrey-Miles we offer a unique service to veteran’s families.  We will do our best to identify each of your medals, providing information such as the date of issue, the campaign, branch of service and a detailed description of the medal, clasps, ribbons and those who were eligible to receive the award.  We publish this historical record, with a colour picture of each medal, in a personalized book that is presented to the family.  In this way, we help you ensure that your service to our country will be remembered by the next generations. 

Humphrey-Miles offers a variety of pre-planning and pre-payment options with a special savings of 15% for veterans.  There are also many other Federal programs available.
